Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about our cells, pack matching, and process.

About Our Cells

Why only 8 cells? Don’t you have more options?

We evaluate 40+ cell models and select only the 8 that meet our quality bar. Most cells don’t make the cut because of inconsistent quality, inflated specifications, or unreliable supply. Curation is our value proposition. If you need a cell that’s not in our selection, we can source it — but we’ll be transparent about whether we’ve verified it to our standards.

Can you source cells not in your 8 curated models?

Yes, we can source additional cell models. However, cells outside our curated selection haven’t gone through our full verification process. We’ll be transparent about this distinction and can arrange evaluation samples.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ varies by cell model. Typically starting from 1,000 cells for standard models. Sample orders (50-200 cells) are available for evaluation before bulk purchase. Contact us for specific MOQ by model.

About Pack Matching

How long does pack matching take?

Standard matching recommendations within 24-48 hours. Complex requirements may take 3-5 business days. Samples typically available within 2-6 weeks, depending on the pack configuration.

Are matched packs already certified?

Yes. All packs in our product libraries hold UN38.3, MSDS, and relevant regional certifications. We verify certification status before recommending any pack.

What if the matched pack doesn’t fit my exact needs?

We start with the closest proven match and discuss adaptation options — different connectors, BMS parameters, or labeling. If adaptation isn’t possible, we coordinate custom development transparently. But we always show you the proven baseline first.

Can you do custom BMS programming?

Yes. BMS configuration (voltage thresholds, current limits, communication protocols, balancing strategy) can be customized to your requirements as part of the adaptation process.

About Orders & Logistics

Do you provide samples before bulk orders?

Yes. Evaluation samples are available for all recommended cells and matched packs. Sample lead time is typically 2-4 weeks. We encourage sample evaluation — it’s how you verify quality before committing to bulk.

What shipping methods do you offer?

Sea freight (most cost-effective for bulk), air freight (faster, higher cost), and rail freight (Europe). All shipments comply with UN38.3 dangerous goods regulations. We handle the shipping documentation.

What payment terms do you accept?

Standard terms: T/T (30% deposit, 70% before shipment). L/C available for larger orders. Payment terms are discussed during quotation based on order volume and relationship stage.

What about warranty?

Warranty terms are product-specific and provided in the quotation. Standard warranty covers manufacturing defects. We provide warranty support documentation for your end customers.
